We have classes and sessions to suit every age and ability at Iveagh Fitness.
Achieve your fitness goals regardless of your age or ability. Enjoy the surroundings of our iconic building with high ceilings, loads of natural light spilling in and ample space to enjoy your workout. Classes for everyone and expert instructors await at Iveagh Fitness.
Spin
Spin classes at Iveagh Fitness are group exercise classes focused on resistance-based intervals, heart rate training, and sometimes getting a full-body workout. Great bikes and inspiring surrounds make this a great workout.
Stretch & Mobility
Stretch & mobility is multiple methods of stretching, foam-rolling, muscle pain release, and improvement in movement. It’s not yoga, but can incorporate yoga positions. It’s not stability, but it includes having core strength.
CrossFit
CrossFit is a strength & conditioning workout made up of functional movement performed at high intensity and interval training. The movements are actions that you perform everyday, like squatting, pulling, pushing etc.
Pilates
Pilates focuses on strength, stability, posture, breathing control and flexibility. Classes help balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles. Classes use slow, controlled movements.
TRX & Kettlebells
A challenging and fun way to get leaner and fitter. The combination of TRX and Kettlebell exercises builds strength and fitness into every muscle, develop a strong core, lose fat and increase muscle stability.
Aqua Aerobics
Aerobics exercises performed in our shallow water pool, using the water as resistance and for extra resistance we use paddles and noodles. Aqua Aerobics helps build cardiovascular stamina, strength and flexibility.
Self Defence
Self defence classes at Iveagh Fitness teach people how to defend themselves and talk about when and where to use the skills. It can be comforting to know that you can defend yourself and others if the situation arises.
Yoga
Yoga class incorporates gentle movement sequences, breath work, supported silent meditation, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body, and quieting of the nervous system.
BoxFit
A cardiovascular workout with classes lasting up to one hour. It is based on the training used for boxing and includes, skipping, boxing drills, footwork, and abdominal workouts. All focusing on fitness and toning.
Functional Training
Strength training to prepare your body for daily activities. Exercises equip you for the most important type of physical fitness, daily living stuff like bending, twisting, lifting, loading, pushing, pulling, squatting and hauling.
HIIT
Interval training with high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate to at least 80 per cent of an individual’s maximum heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements.
Iveagh Day Pass
For just €20, we offer the classic try before you buy option with our Iveagh Fitness DAY PASS. A day pass entitles you to spend time at Iveagh Fitness and use all the facilities available. You are also welcome to try any of the fitness classes or take time using the leisure facilities. It’s also a great way to speak to a member of the team, who will happily answer any questions and advise on membership options.
If you like what you see and decide to join us at Iveagh Fitness, we’ll deduct the €20 DayPass fee from your membership when you sign up.
